WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen spoke with European Commission Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager. Secretary Yellen discussed the United States’ Inflation Reduction Act and the EU’s Green Deal Industrial Plan. Secretary Yellen stressed the need to stimulate technology development and deployment on both sides of the Atlantic to speed the transition to green energy and achieve our collective climate goals.
