Reliable News is an independent digital newspaper covering Policy, Affairs, Geoeconomics, Economy and Business. Economic argument is usually a dispute about measurement. It is part of VUGA Network, a group of independent digital publications published in the United States.

How We Report

Everything published is analysis or explainer, and each piece names its sources at the point of use. A claim about wages arrives with the survey behind it; a claim about trade arrives with the customs data. Forecasts are treated as scenarios with assumptions attached, never as predictions. Charts that begin an axis somewhere other than zero say so. Where two credible datasets disagree, both appear.

What We Cover

Economy tracks output, prices, employment and the mechanisms connecting them. Policy assesses what governments spend, tax and regulate against the objectives stated when each measure was introduced, sourced to budget offices, program evaluations and comparable schemes abroad. Affairs covers political developments for their economic consequence — budget standoffs, coalition changes, industrial action, treaty negotiations — stating the channel through which politics reaches output, prices or investment. Geoeconomics follows economics used as statecraft: tariffs, export controls, sanctions, investment screening and industrial subsidies, alongside the customs and shipping data showing where trade actually moved. Economy News covers scheduled events — statistical releases, central bank meetings, budget statements — with the number, the expectation, the prior reading and any revision, while Business News reads earnings, capital expenditure, hiring plans and pricing behavior as early evidence about the economy itself.

The aim throughout is that a reader can trace every figure back to the institution that produced it.
